Current Team

Grand Rapids Rise

Founded in December 2022, the Grand Rapids Rise is the first Pro Volleyball Federation franchise and Grand Rapids first major-league women’s sports team. Led by longtime Michigan State and Western Michigan head coach Cathy George, the Rise’s 14-player roster will play 24 matches (12 home, 12 away) during its inaugural 2024 season. The team is operated by DP Fox Sports & Entertainment and owned by Dan DeVos, who is also co-owner and CEO of the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins. Dan also serves as chairman of the NBA’s Orlando Magic and is a member of the NBA Board of Governors.

Pro Volleyball Federation

The Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) is the premier women’s professional volleyball league in North America. The PVF has attracted some of the volleyball’s top talent, including some of America’s greatest players and coaches, as well as elite players from around the world. Starting in 2024, Pro Volleyball Federation will play in a REAL league format with teams playing in major league arenas.

Association of Volleyball Professionals

Founded in 1983, the AVP Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) is the largest and longest-running professional beach volleyball tour in the United States. Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour is produced in premier locations and venues throughout the USA which are live streamed on ESPN+ and Bally Live.
